Evening with Ingrian Finns

On 24 September, we are celebrating the National Minorities Day together in Haapsalu with an Evening with Ingrian Finns. The evening starts with a theatrical performance of To Ingria by Haapsalu Youth Centre, followed by a discussion night with typical snacks of Ingrian Finns, led by Aili Tervonen and Svea Stamberg from the Association of Ingrian Finns in West Estonia. The event will start at 7 p.m., at the Randlase hall of the Haapsalu Culture Centre. The evening is free of charge for all participants, but to participate, you have to book your spot in advance at the Fienta ticket platform for 0 euros. We welcome all participants from ages10 to 100 who have a connection or roots in Ingria or have heard of this tiny nation and their history. The performance was supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia and the Fenno-Ugria Kindred Peoples’ Programme.
