Celebrating the National Minorities Day in Pärnu County

Let us celebrate the National Minorities Day together in Pärnu County! A workshop of dances of various nationalities is led by Jaan Sarv, a garmon player and dance club enthusiast. His mission is to bring the joy of dancing to anyone interested, be it a group of party guests in need of some active entertainment or an experienced dance lover looking to learn a new exciting dance from their homeland or abroad, or to simply enjoy some of their all-time favourites. Most of his experience in social dancing originates from the Tallinn dance club, but he has also gathered and shared experience in all corners of Estonia and festivals abroad, both near and far. Jaan Sarv will bring some of his favourite dances to the National Minorities Day that will take us on a tour around Estonia’s small islands, then onwards to the Baltic states and central Europe to finish in Portugal or Udmurtia. The dances are simple enough for everyone to join in and offer exciting nuances for experienced dancers as well.
