The NPO Estonian Old Believers Cultural Centre is an umbrella organisation for five cultural associations whose activities are designed to develop the cultural life of Old Believers and preserve and pass on their cultural traditions so as to maintain the intellectual and cultural heritage of their forefathers as well as national and regional heritage culture traditions.
The culture of the Old Believers is strongly linked to the religious values of the family and community, which is why the umbrella organisation works with members of the Union of Congregations of Estonian Old Believers, helping to organise cooperation with other associations in Estonia and neighbouring countries and with researchers and specialists who are interested in studying issues that are of importance to the Old Believers.
