The class is perfect for language learners who are interested in ceramics and want to communicate in Estonian in a relaxed atmosphere. Estonian-speaking ceramics enthusiasts are also welcome to help the language learners.

Natural cosmetics workshop B1+ (Pärnu)

We will make a mosquito repellent, a lip balm, and a body lotion while practising our Estonian.

Chemistry teacher Anne will take us into the hands-on world of chemistry and natural sciences. She will give out measuring cups, scales, and recipes for everyone and provide guidance during each step of making eco-friendly body care products. We will take a look at units of measurement. We will talk about household chemicals, compare store-bought and homemade products, find differences and similarities.

During these hands-on activities, participants can develop their skills of listening (instruction in Estonian), speaking (asking questions, exchanging ideas), reading (understanding recipes, units of measurement) in Estonian.

Trip: Forest game with a storyteller B1+ (Aegviidu)

The forest game on Sõõriksoo nature trail lasts about 2 hours, followed by a discussion with a storyteller Ena Mets in the RMK Visitor Centre.

Listening and speaking are aimed at adult learners for the development of versatile language use, as well as better understanding of written and oral texts outside of the language courses. Supports the communication and oral expression, listening, and speaking skills of the participants.

Location: Aegviidu Visitor Centre and Sõõriksoo nature trail. The storyteller tells stories and together with the teacher encourages the participants to talk about topics related to nature.

Language Roulette invites you to practise Estonian! We meet virtually on Zoom in the format of short conversations.

We chat in Estonian for a limited time in a random group. The topics will be clarified at the meeting. A positive and free atmosphere is guaranteed.

Small talk fair B1+ (Pärnu)

The "Small talk fair" is a playful chat group for Estonian language enthusiasts, where we will get to know each other, exchange experiences, look for answers, and play team games.

At our first meeting, we will introduce upcoming events.

Participants can develop their skills of listening (all stories are in Estonian), speaking (free-form conversation), and reading (new words, simple questions) in Estonian. The meetings have a friendly and supportive atmosphere, a fun vibe, and coffee. Also suitable for more courageous language learners at the A2 level.
