Europe Day orienteering game B1+

The Estonian Language House in Tallinn invites language learners who want to learn about the European Union institutions, see exciting new places and take part in a prize lottery to take part in the Europe Day orienteering game while practising their Estonian!

Let’s get together, discuss the game, split into groups, and take a walk in the town! To play, you need to download the Navicup app on your smart device (a link to the app will be sent to registered persons shortly before the event). A map of Tallinn, marked with 10 orienteering points, will then appear on the screen. All checkpoints are located at an embassy of an EU country or an Estonian authority.

Some embassies and buildings also welcome visitors to their premises to showcase their exhibits and offer interesting activities. Taking part in the game is a great way to see buildings and places you wouldn’t normally have access to. For example, the Romanian Embassy (Rävala 5), the Finnish Embassy (Kohtu 4), the Stenbock House (Rahukohtu 3), the Danish Embassy (Wismari 5), the Hungarian Institute (Piiskopi 2), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Islandi väljak 1), etc.

The players of the Estonian Language House in Tallinn also have a chance to win prizes! A nice set of souvenirs of the Language House will be given to the 3 teams that finish.

The winner of the whole orienteering game will be revealed at the Europe Day concert on the same evening, which anyone can listen! The participants will represent the Estonian Language House in Tallinn at the orienteering game.

  • Language level: B1+
  • Time: 09.05 from 14.00-17.00
