Free language learning opportunities are provided by the Integration Foundation as well as Unemployment Insurance Fund. Additionally, Foundation Innove provides opportunities for compensating the expenses on learning Estonian. The program for compensating learning expenses allows each person to find a suitable course and study in the way best suited for them.

When choosing a course, make sure that if you need a level certificate to prove your language proficiency, the course prepares you for the proficiency examination. In addition to the proficiency studies, it is recommended to practice the language actively in language cafes or independently. A certificate is not enough for the employer, if you do not manage with Estonian language while performing your work duties.

The Unemployment Insurance Fund offers Estonian courses to achieve the level required for working by the request of a person as well as employer. Contact the career consultant of the Unemployment Insurance Fund and find out which language learning opportunities the Unemployment Insurance Fund can offer you. Speciality courses in Estonian could also be of help, in addition to that you can participate in the language cafes of the Integration Foundation or any other activity.

 

Employees have an opportunity to improve their Estonian language skills with the help of the program Work and study sponsored by the Unemployment Insurance Fund.

The consultants of the Integration Foundation help each client in choosing the most suitable Estonian language learning opportunity. Consultants analyse the needs of the person and the existing experiences and offer a suitable option for each case. These can be free courses organised by the Integration Foundation, language cafes or clubs, but also opportunities offered by other entities, or independent learning through web resources.
