We will get an overview of Eduard Vilde, his life and work, as well as the changes in culture and life in the 1920s. While Vilde was living in his first and last home in Kadriorg, the world went crazy during this glamorous and glittering decade. We travel back to the 1920s and 1930s in the cosy and timeless home of Eduard Vilde.

The series of meetings taking place in the different buildings of the Art Museum of Estonia is intended for cultural-loving Estonian language learners who want to improve their Estonian language skills through active learning methods while discovering the art world. Within the meetings, exhibitions will be introduced, thematic interviews will be conducted, and the learning of the Estonian language will be supported through creative tasks and activities.

Fat Margaret – the gateway between the city and the port

We will learn about the activities of the Estonian Maritime Museum in the historical Fat Margaret Tower. Through the maritime world, we study the diverse population of Tallinn throughout history as well as the communication at that time. We will see the exhibits and take part in the exhibition ‘Adventures from Land and Sea’. Finally, we will have the crafting session in the classroom.

Language Roulette invites you to practise Estonian! We meet virtually on Zoom in the format of short conversations. We chat in Estonian for a limited time in a random group. The topics will be clarified at the meeting. A positive and free atmosphere is guaranteed.

LET’S GET TOGETHER! is a fun series of events for people in Pärnu and Sindi whose mother tongues are languages other than Estonian, where we practise Estonian and meet various artisans from Pärnu County. The event will take place in both Pärnu and Sindi.

LET’S GET TOGETHER! is a social event with a coffee break, where you can chat in Estonian in a cool and playful atmosphere. Under the guidance of a artisan, you can make a nice souvenir or gift with your own hands.
