(REGISTRATION CLOSED) Summer language courses in a relaxed atmosphere are a fun and effective way of honing your skills in Estonian. For the first time, the Integration Foundation is now also offering Estonian language courses for communication at the A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels in summer. The courses are designed for adults and will be held in different parts of the country. Please choose the course that suit you best and register by entering the "Register here!" button.
WHAT ARE THE COURSES LIKE?
- These courses are designed to develop all four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Like the other language courses offered by the Integration Foundation, they will last for 120 academic hours. However, they are more intensive in nature and will take place over a shorter period of three months.
- Up to 10% of each course will comprise excursions conducted in Estonian. Groups will visit such places as the National Library, Narva Castle, museums and handicrafts workshops and attend summer events and cinema screenings.
- Courses match the descriptions of the levels on the scale of the European language-learning framework document and therefore are appropriate for participants at the A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels. HERE you can take a quick test to determine which level of Estonian is closest to your own.
- Lessons are held in Estonian.
- Depending on the level of their language skills, those who complete a course should be able to communicate in Estonian at an elementary, intermediate or advanced level.
- The summer courses are designed for adult learners (ages 18 and over).
- The courses will be held in Tallinn, Kohtla-Järve (Ahtme), Jõhvi and Narva.

HOW CAN I REGISTER FOR THE SUMMER COURSES?
Please choose the course that suits you best and register by entering the "Register here!" button above. To make registering quicker and easier, choose your preferred course in advance.
NB! For the registration you will need: Estonian ID-card with valid certificate (also smart card reader, PIN1 and installed ID software) or Mobile-ID or Smart-ID.
The registration for Autumn language courses will start in August 25, 2021.
COUNSELLING
For those who are unable to register for the courses through online registration, the Integration Foundation provides a free consultation service. As a result of consultation, a person's language learning needs, motivation and learning experience are mapped, and later they may be invited to study at the Integration Foundation's Estonian Language Houses or a suitable training provider when the next language courses begin.
