The event is intended for language learners interested in the Estonian culture who want to improve their Estonian language skills using active learning methods while learning about important events in the history of the Republic of Estonia in more detail.

The exhibition My Free Country takes visitors on a journey through 100 years, from the birth of the Republic of Estonia to the modern day. The most important events and the choices made are revealed through memory fragments, objects, film footage, as well as the prevailing moods in the exhibition spaces. The exhibition My free country was chosen as the best permanent exhibition in the 2018 Estonian Museum Annual Awards competition!
