Participants in these workshops hone their writing skills (both literally and figuratively) by trying out different styles of calligraphy. As an added bonus, they gain a practical skill that can be put to use making, for example, a card for a special occasion or a specially-worded decoration. The workshops are run entirely in Estonian.
Health safety: In organising language courses, Estonian Language Houses are guided by the current requirements put in place to stop the spread of coronavirus. Only people who present the certificate to prove that they (1) are vaccinated, (2) have been recovered from COVID-19
The COVID certificates of all attendants will be checked at the entrance, please bring your identity document with you as well.
The certificate can be submitted in both paper and digital form (eg from smartphone).
Min. language level required: A2 (Participants can understand, comment on and creatively add to short written texts and interview others to further develop the topic.)

We’ll practise different writing styles in contemporary calligraphy. Creative tasks will include designing posters and banners.
